PushUp App Store Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in PushUp app (the Service) for iOS.
Camera, Exercise Tracking, and Face Data
PushUp may request access to your device’s camera to track your exercise form and count repetitions using on-device body pose estimation (Apple Vision human body pose). Camera frames are processed locally on your device in real time and are not stored, uploaded, or shared with us or any third party.
We do not collect face data. We do not use face recognition, face landmarks, Face ID, or TrueDepth facial mapping. We do not create, store, or share facial templates, biometric face identifiers, or images/videos of your face. Any appearance of a face in the live camera preview is incidental and is not extracted, saved, or transmitted.
Derived exercise metrics (such as repetition counts and earned screen time) may be stored locally on your device. These metrics are not face data and do not include camera imagery or body-pose coordinates.
Sharing: Because we do not collect face data, we do not share face data with third parties.
Retention: Face data is not retained. Camera frames and pose data are discarded when the workout/camera session ends.
Deletion and consent: You can revoke camera permission at any time in iOS Settings, which stops all camera-based exercise tracking. Because face and pose imagery/coordinates are never stored by the app, there is no stored face data to delete. You may delete locally stored app preferences and earned-time data by deleting the app.
Information Collection and Use
Individual settings and data relating to the Service are stored only on your device.
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.
We may use AppMetrica, which is an analytics solution. AppMetrica may record information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service. We are using the information collected by AppMetrica to improve our app. AppMetrica does not collect personally identifiable information and does not track your browsing habits across apps.
